Good Baby Shower Favors To Use

I don't get what baby shower favors are for.So i'm having problems trying to figure out what some good favors would be.If anyone has some suggestions I would really appreciate it.I want them to be fun and cute.Need some good suggestions and some advice on what to use and do.
